You should call dana at pro-built ( www.pro-built.net ) and order his 550hp 700-R4. He gives a 1 year warranty and I hear nothing but good things about them. Do a search on thirdgen.org you'll see what i mean. They cost right around 1500 new.

For a 700R4 rebuild you should get more and heavier-duty clutch packs, a Corvette servo, boost valve, governor adjustments for optimum shift points, and a Trans-Go shift kit.

I also say go with Pro-Built Automatics. I have also heard nothing but good things about them. Check out www.pro-built.net - 700R4. Buy the rebuild kit and have the guy you know put it all together and you'll have one mean 700R4 tranny.

I agree. I ordered his Street/Strip 700R4 and a Vigilante Torque Converter about three weeks ago.

He is very friendly and knows his stuff. He will take the time to go over your set-up, driving habits, HP/TQ goals, and mods and build your tranny to your requirements. The core charge is included in the price. The Vigilante was ordered through him and drop shipped through Precision Industries. The converter arrived last week and is one heck of a mean piece. I cant wait till the trans gets here. Unfortunately for me, he had four other orders ahead of me.

If you read this....THANKS Dana!!

Like I said earlier, I have had Rossler Transmissions rebuild mine and they lasted for a long time. It can't be all that bad a company if that is what Lingenfelter puts in his modified cars.
