Cool Where do I find 1LE products???

I've been advised to go with a 1LE product for my brake upgrade but I don't have a clue to where I can locate this product. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't bother man, it is definatly a quality brake system but new prices are over a grand, and I have been quoted on baer systems for eight something. I am definatly going baer, but if you want 1le check out stainless steel brakes they have a kit, and I think also spohn or one of those places has one to.

Shoot me an email, it sounds funny but baer is not the best place to buy baer brakes. Use them as a reference guide, and then go through the connection I know. I am not sure if the guy wants me posting prices but email me and compare between his and baer's, I think you will be impressed.

Try SSBC I have their 1le brake kit. They even come with slotted rotors. They are a little more expensive then Baer though.

i'd definately go with something like baer instead if your looking for the best. throw some gm performance rotors, braided brakelines, and some performance pads and for half the price of the 1-le it will work just as good on the street.

By the way, I may have read it wrong, but it sounds like you think 1LE is a brand. Its actually an option package on F-bodies that included better brakes.

Thanks guys and gals I appreciate your comments and suggestions. I'm just getting started on building my street rod and I felt a real good brake system would be the best place to start.

Wrong. You can go with Spohn's kit which will be the easiest, or you can slowly piece it all together. I spent right at $800 give or take a few bucks and I even got one of the last sets of GM parts for the swap.

well considering baer's setup is right on with their prices and the stopping power is unmeasured that's probably why he said what he said.

all you need to do is add some good pads and some braided lines; so long as the rest of your system is up to par it will be more than enough for the street and alot cheaper than the 1-le kit.

Well I'm no ace mechanic but I can do R&R (remove and replace). That's why I want a kit to replace my drum brakes on the rear.
