Will someone please help me w/ finding brakes?

Thanx Greeze.. I will look into that. That seems a bit more easier to pull off than 87djp's.. lol.
Are 10-inch rotors decent sized? What kind of performance rotor can I buy, for reasonably cheap if it can't be REALLY cheap?
What does turning your rotors do?

I would concentrate on your fronts as they provide about 70% of your stopping power.Make sure your rotors are true and get some performance friction carbon metalic pads. These can be found at autozone and are much better then stock. As for the rears there is a company in Texas I think the name is Praise Dyno, I don't know if they are still in business but they sold rear shoes with a carbonlike compound for shorter stopping distances. Make sure your adjusters are in good shape. This combo should be inexpensive and a much better alternative to ripping off the auto parts store .

I will look into them for my rears.
Does Carbon Metalic last long?
How much do you estimate, if I go by YOUR idea, do you think this will all cost?

Uh~ you could just pay for both sets of shoes if your worried that you might get over on a part store.
Carbon metallic compounds are hard on rotors/drums and also dust heavy and squeal, If all out performance is the goal THAT would be my choice

Your the type of guy who returns the screwed up parts, and to hell with the next guy that buys them.

I am not looking for all-out performance.. just something better than stock, lasts a while, has minimal brake dust, and is cheap.

brakes
I think if you contact praise dyno you will find they have the rear shoes for your car, but I don't know the price. The front pads are about $30, if you need to have your rotors turned they are about $10 each, new seals and wheel bearing grease is about $10. The carbon metalic pads are a little harder on the rotors but are far superior to cheap pads.
