WOT=stall, what gives
Ok, when I floor it from a standstill or 5MPH roll my engine makes a metal "tink" sound, then just shuts off completely. If I'm cruising around at 25MPH and floor it I'm fine.....what gives.

Sounds as if your float level is too low. When you floor it from a stand still, the car rocks back, lifting the front up. This probably starves the carb of fuel, and it stalls. At 25 mph, this scenario is not as pronounced, hence the lack of stalling
if that isnt' it, perhaps your fuel pump isn't up to par with the rest of your motor.

The car doesn't move, I floor it, and it almost instantly dies, it never pulls. I think I had the timing too far retarded....I can't seem to get the car into a happy medium, it either is too retarded that it isn't getting good combustion, or it pings. Everyone I talked to told me if I ran 93 octane (which I am) that I could run 10.7:1 domed pistons...now I'm wondering if I should have gone 10:1 cause I'm having pinging problems. Would be nice if a colder plug will help my idle and pinging....

Could have a bad accelerator pump, or incorrect pump cam. Sounds like it's starving for fuel at the "transition" stage causing a lean stumble or backfire stalling the motor.
Low idle fuel mix will cause some pinging also as a low float level will too.
It's a Holley right, Unless you have a sight plug at the top of the float bowl you'll have to remove the large screw at that position. Adjust the float up by loosening the lock nut on top then adjust the screw in the middle until fuel just drips from the hole or is just visible at the bottom of the sight plug, whichever you have...
Then adjust the idle mixture screws until you get the highest idle or pull the most vacuum.(if you have a vac gage)You'll have to go back and forth from side to side.
