Hmm.. sh*t.. then where are the 2 other bolts? Are there 2 somewhere in the vicinity of the steering column?

there are 2 directly above the column and these are the ones that are hard to get out.
Look at the last picture gixxer92 posted, you can see the hole in the firewall where the booster rod goes through (the hole up highest in the pic), then you see the pedal bracket,
Here, I labeled the 4 bolts you need to remove, 3 and 4 are the hardest ones to get to.

Ok, I will take another look. I am thinking I know where they are, but there is no possible way for me to get any of my tools up in there; it's too tight in there.

3/8's drive wratchet, 14-16" extension, universal joint, and a deep well socket will get you there. move the wiring harness around.

Well what I'm trying to get at is the clutch master cylinder so I can put a new line on it going to the slave cylinder.
I really dont want to remove the steering column; that sounds like teh ghey
I will try using the extension and U-joint/deep-well socket

Oh, you don't need to touch the booster to get the MC out, it just takes some finess to get it out from under the booster without damaging the rod.
Taking the booster out does make it much easier, but it is just hard to get to the 2 bolts that you are stuck on.

Re: Ya.. so how do I finish getting the brake-booster out?

taking the steering column out is not hard at all
two bolts under the dash that go straight up
3 bolts against the firewall from the inside of the car, tiny little things
and one bolt that connects the column to the steering shaft

be sure to pay attention to the orient tation of the steering wheel and the bolt in the steering shaft, u dont wanna put that back on backwards, have an upside down steering wheel when the wheels are straight
wheel alignment wont solve that one

the tricky part is putting the steering column back on
i suggest using a phillips head screw driver to seperate the column from the shaft, anbd to aid in reinstallation

and if u ask me
it was a hell of alot easier to access the bolts for the clutch master cylinder with the steering column out and it was much easier to see what the hell i'm doing, let alone get the clutch master cylinder out, when the brake booster is out

u could probably do it without removing the column, or the booster
but judging by the fact you're still having trouble removing the brake booster
you would probably be better off removing the column so u can get a real good look at whats going on (no offense)

Re: Ya.. so how do I finish getting the brake-booster out?

What I need to do is get the current line off of the clutch master cylinder, and attach the new one w/ the new slave cylinder attached. How would I get that pin out and then insert the new one? It looks as though I will not be able to fit my hands into there.
If worst comes to worst, I will drop the steering column w/ my friends help; but that's a last-case scenario. That sounds like even more hell to come lol.
