Z28 won't start today - its raining...
Hi everyone, ok so today I went to start my z28 (Its under a cover) I usually start it once a week. So I go to start the car and nothing. I thought it was the battery since it was a week since I started it (its been very hot here) so I grabbed the other battery I had put it in the car still nothing.
The starter in the car is only like a year and a half old so I do not think it is the problem. When I turn the key I hear nothing...I am not sure if I am suppose to hear something clicking or not I can't recall???
Anyone out there have any ideas? I am sure the moisture from being under the cover may have played into why its not turning on today. The last month it was taking a few turning of the keys to start...I thought it was just the battery but I guess I was wrong.

Well after putting in my new coil and the car starting I thought it was the coil. But no such luck today I went and parked the car for like an hour and half came back tried to start it and nothing gauges all go up and if they have power but nothing else no crank or anything. Its as if the car alarms starter kill were in full effect. So after waiting in my car for like 45 min I turned the ignition key on about 20 min then another 20 min then finally the car fired right up.
Damn I am loosing my cool with this issue. Can anyone point me to how to trouble shoot this?
