Power windows work, power locks don't
Thanks for having me, here's my issue. Was hoping someone could help me.
95 Z28, both driver side and passenger side power window switches are fully functional, but the power locks are not
Here's what is happening. Driver side makes the movement noise when hitting unlock button, but doesn't unlock. Pushing lock button does nothing. Passenger side lock/unlock also does nothing.
Bought new key fobs and when I put into programming mode I heard the unlock "noise" but nothing happened after that. So I'm wondering what's next. Should I replace both switches on both sides? Hopefully that works and then maybe I can get the key fob to program.
Any help is appreciated, TIA!

If I read this correctly, the power windows are fine, only locks have a problem.
Both systems are electronically totally independent of each other. Shoebox has the wiring diagram, if you don’t have that.
LOCKS/KEYLESS ENTRY

Hopefully someone who has run into this problem will pitch in. Unfortunately although we have 100,000+ members, there's only about a dozen of us who still try to help, so be patient.
