Unhappy 17 inch wheel problem

I finally got the bucks for the new tires and when I went to get my 17 X 9.5 inch wheels with 56mm of back spacing mounted they don't fit!!! They're ZR1 style wheels, what the heck! Did I do something wrong? The web site of the company I ordered from says they'll fit! I've e-mailed them and I'm waiting for an answer from them. Needless to say, this is a very emotional time for me, if you get my drift. Can anyone shed some lite on this for me?

What exactly is making it fit because if it's the hub you just need to grind a little in the hole behind the center cap

It's more than likely something these guys are talking about...just a little mod here or there that you have to do to your car in order to get them to fit. No biggie. It'll just take a little more effort to get your wheels on.

Thanks guys. I've heard of this problem before with the center bore. He did say he could only get about two threads on the lug nuts, so it sounds like you're all on the same page. I'm starting to feel better about this. Thanks again.
