They did something similar with 4th gens to get around the import taxes. I don't have the webpage saved but there was a very interesting thread on the modifications they did to get them into the country without having to pay outrageous taxes. I'm impressed with the lengths they went to get the cars. It says a lot about the Camaro if they go to those extremes to get one.

Yeah, I remember that website. I think if you google Denmark Camaro it'll come up. It actually looked nice though since they only replaced the rear seat area and trunk with a pickup bed and still could close the hatch. This 3rd gen is about 3 feet longer than it should be.
