I did the install as recommended and got the factory switch. It does look good (like it's supposed to be there).

went and bought a set today. They are fitting nice so far. I don't like just using the plasic pieces for their only support so I'm going to make a template out of sheet aluminum and place it over top the old plastic. i'll cut off the old platic bolts, whatever you want to call them and run a stainless bolt through all them. Still not sure how i want to wire them. I'm reall leaning towards having them on with the running lights and ommitting the switch in the car

i notices on your write up that you said you have the foglight indicator light working then at the bottom you said you coudln't figure it out. Just wanted to check with you before i splice into any wires. I haven't got my switch yet but i got the fog lights moutned finally.

right, but it does work now. It mentions which wires to splice into, and the light will work. The biggest problem I ran into was a lack of slack on the factory wiring harness there. You don't have much room to work with.

Fred

p.s. Actually, I cobbed onto that write-up a while back. I saved it to my computer, but couldn't remember the original URL. I found it the other day. I got it from here.

Fred do you have the original bezel in your 95. I don't think i have a fog light indicator on my dash. I may have not looked hard enough at the black display?

original bezel? are you looking for an indicator in the dash by the gauges? I didn't have anything like that. The only thing that tells me the lights are on is the little led in the switch.

p.s.... in my handy dandy "Standard Catalog of Firebird: 1967-2002", I don't see any mention of foglights as a factory option for '95 (for anything but T/A's). There might not've been any spot in the dash to start with. Do you have the 120 or 150mph speedo?
