95 camaro with 97-02 camaro console mod

95 camaro with 97-02 camaro console mod

This is my 95 camaro that I have messed with a little and I did a little mod where I heated some plexiglass and bent it to form a shelf to fill the gap in between the 97-02 camaro console and my 95 dash. Then painted it black. I think it looks a little better than the gap. Also went to a junkyard and cut out a piece of carpet and put it down behind the entire shelf to hide some wires and a bracket used to hold the 95 camaro console and took a grinder and cut off the two pieces of plastic that stuck out of the end of the new console. Hope this gives an idea to anyone thinking about swapping out their old 4th gen console for a new 4th gen console. If interested I will gladly explain how I did so.Always liked the newerer consoles.
