What are u running, mods? 383? if you need the performance work id say put the money there if you have really bad paint paint it. i wouldnt waste the money ..just seems like alot of money that could be spent in other places, LT1 looks alot better imo, but to each is own...good Luck in whatever you do

I did the swap...but I'll have to admit...I probably wouldn't have done it except that the insurance paid for most of it since my car got all vandalised one night. It can get to be a pretty expensive swap. If I was having to foot the entire bill of it, I probably would have just gone with a supercharger or something. I just did it because all the parts I needed cost about the same to either get LT1 style parts or the LS1 style body panels. There's pics of some of the build on one of the pages in my camaro link in the sig. ANTZ97...you think the older style looks better?! THen you need to take a look at the pics in my sig too!

I think I may be the white Z they are talking about. Feel free to ask any questions. You can see pics of the car here: http://www.aldersgarage.20m.com The car is a 94.
A few things to note right off:
1. LT1 radiator support is installed .250" farther back than LS1 supports. This neccessitates the use of approximately 1/4" shims to get your hood gap right.
2. Your headlight/driving light harness will plug right in; you don't have to swap any wiring at all.
3. The holes for the upper headlight supports are already there; you just have to tap them.
4. You need: Fenders, hood, bumper support, headlights, driving lights. You can reuse your LT1 air intake system or replace it with factory or aftermarket LS1 parts; I replaced mine with a K&N FIPK for the LS1.
THat's about it. Install is very easy and took me (not a body man) about 3-4 hours.

My car has a 98 front end swap. I like the 98+ nose much better, I never would have done it if I hadn't wrecked my front end though. If you have the cash to do it then have fun, swap isn't that difficult

Sorry about the mail box issue , I'll take care of that .
Antz97nj- My engine is a LT4/383 afr heads forged bottomend and the vortech-t-trim .running 14lbs of boost . So motor wise Iam good . It just seems everybody around me has black z-28s so Iwant tochange it up a little bit with the front end , ss spoiler and a hood (not sure which one yet) . Thanks for the pictures and ideals. If anybody else has any with a different hood or something different please send them .
