About to by a GFX kit, need advice...

I am startign to sit down and look at GFX kits, what i want is the xenon front with the stock Z28 Sports Apperance package sides and rear.. Now, i am not willing to pay what GM wants for the stock S.A.P pieces, so im willing to settle for the complete xenon kit becaus i still think its looks awsome... I however do not liek the rear piece for the xenon, it looks good. But not bad ***...

So, my question is... What one company can i order only order the xenon front and sides with the option to get the rear piece from another make, like wings west or preferabley the GM sap style or something close to the SAP style like wings west..

And i also want everyones opinion, this really isnt important as info i need right now for the gfx kit... After the ground kit, im getting a hood its either going to be the SS hood or a BIG TALL COWL HOOD! Il go ahead and post a poll for you guys to just vote....

I like the looks of the 4" cowl in pics...
but whenever I see one in person it looks gaudy.
I will say that the best ones I have seen were on white cars, but on other colors, never.
The SS hood is too plain and understated IMO.

Just because you have a white car, I'd say go with the cowl. If you had any other color I'd say neither of the 2.

Good luck
Dave

Re: About to by a GFX kit, need advice...

First of all, what exhaust setup will you be running ?

In my opinion, if you ever saw a Xenon rear piece in person you would never consider another rear GFX. I'm assuming you have only seen pics on the internet, which do it no justice.

Anyways, if the Xenon piece is ruled out, my second choice would be the GM Rear Piece.

My third Choice would be the Rk Sport Rear

My fourth choice would be the Wings West Rear

My 5th choice would be the Stella/Vizage rear

Since you have a LS1 style front, I also highly recommend that you consider this setup:

RXSPORT CA-800 Front
Wings West Sides
Xenon / GM Rear

It would Look sweet as hell.

Get the number for New Way from the website then call him. He doesn't list his prices on the net b/c they are so low. I got mine for $486 shipped to my door, I couldn't find a better deal anywhere else and the kit was top quality. He only sells Wings West though so if you go with Xenon then your out of luck with him.

My price for the WW kit is right t $500, i called. This is going to be a tough azz choice, i wanna order one by next week but i cant decide which kit to get to save my life... I look at the WW kit then want it more then the xenon, then i see pics of xenon and want it more then ww... The xenon kit is goign to be about $50 more which isnt much of a difference to base a decision....

All i need to do now is find someone to paint/installe it and decide which one...

Take a look at my ride, I have the Wings West..... www.cardomain.com/id/marky822 I personally like the WW but if you have a '98-02 then i'd go for the Xenon

edit: I just saw that you have the'98, if I were you i'd get atleast the Xenon front.... when your spending this much money a $50 difference is nothing

yea, i was looking at your car earlier and it looks good, but im about sure that im going to get the xenon kit. I saw it on a silver maro and liked it alot, and i think an SS hood later down the road would really wake my cars apperance up.
