Aftermarket hood

I decided to make a new thread for this so i didnt have to hijack someone elses. Now im not a big fan of bodykits and crap like this but this hood is nice i think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...979423803&rd=1
I was wondering if anyone has one on their car? Im interested in getting one. I would like to hear about the quality and fit. Thanks

Re: Aftermarket hood

i have that exact hood just expect to have to straighten the inside edge of the scoop up a lil. there manufactured in mexico and the guys that do some of the final cleanup on then just roughly cutout the hole for the scoop. and also the bolt holes for the hinge mounts are standard as our bolts are metric. i had to run a metric tap through to cut the threads right. also it doesnt have provisions for the gas shocks that hold our hoods up but 4 self taping screws fixed that. other than all that its a verry well made and reinforced hood. it might weigh 13 lbs total. ill see if i can find some pics of it on the car befor it got painted.
