Anyone shave the antenna on a camaro?

If you cut it down, cut it to the same heigth as the top of the car. That's what I did. Gives it a smoother look.

I used a window mount on on the front window, it looks like a strip from a rear window defroster and works great.

when u cut it short do u have to reconnect any kind of wires?
