Post black powder coating your wheels

My buddy is actually the one wanting to do this to his truck wheels but if it looks good I might try it. Has anyone done this themselves, and if you have what all do you need to do?????

Eastwood sells a powder coating kit but you have to bake the finsish at over 400*+ might be better off taking them somewhere that does P/C depending on wheel and car I dont know if it would look right ...

well his is a dodge dakota with the stock rims, both of our cars are black. I havent decided if I want to go with a dark low profile look or a chromed out look

Just take it somewhere to get done, its not expensive, only cost me $160 canadian for 4 wheels to be sand blasted and powder coated, not to mention it only took them a couple of hours.
The end result has a nicer finish than the car itself

Black wheels look best with a chrome trim ring, imo. with out the ring they just look like steel wheels from a distance.
