Black turn signals?

I have the black covers on my front signals right now, but it bugs me how I can see a sliver of amber from the top and bottom of em. Does anybody make them that are already black?

I have the Nite-Shades on mine. It looks quite nice and has held up very well.

Where do I get this? Is it like a paint? Will it hold up to the elements?

I just received my Nite Shades spray from Summit. Do you guys have any tips for application?

Thanks!

Yes. I wet sanded mine before applying the spray. This didn't really rough the surface up a whole lot - but it did get rid of any imperfections and road grime, etc. that was stuck on there. I forget what grit I used - but it wasn't real heavy - just enough to get the job done.

I also washed them with dishwashing liquid and rinsed them well right before application. Dishwashing liquid will remove all the oils and such that are on there.

Other than that - just let it dry between coats, that way you can see how dark it is for sure before going to the next coat. And remember, THIN COATS!

You can also get the stuff from O'Reilly Auto Parts - they have to order it, but its only $7 and you don't have to pay Summit's outrageous shipping cost.

Here's a pic.

Hey, 94BlackBowtie, do you have any pics of the turn signal further away or without the mesh type stuff on it? Or with the lamp on. I'd like to do soemthing similar but need full functionality (is that a word? ) of my turn signals. Thanks.
