check out mine for the heck of it

Here ya'll go. Just thought I'd let everyone see what I ride. I need to get some updated pictures - I've since gotten my exhaust put on with the dual-dual SLP Loudmouth tips -- but ya'll know what those look like. I have not done any pictures recently, the most recent one there is the one night shot where I had the exhaust but I couldn't get a good shot of it. What do ya'll think?

On my lawn:

Showing off to the Porsches (hah):

Night shot, look at the shine:

On Stock Rims w/ Tint Still - look at the shine:

I loved the tint - but it started to peel. Got to get it redone:

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

yeah i saw an LS1 camaro recently that had a short (12"-18") bilet antenna, and it made the car look a LOT better. One of those little mods that make a big difference

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

I agree on those but they came on it when I bought it. Im waiting until I get my new hood and a fresh touchup/paint job before I do that. Once I do that I'm going with something I photoshopped up:

Who said my car is/will be slow?

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

not currently on it - I am not going to bolt it in there until I am 100% positive my motor is in good shape. I dont want to put it on there and have it shatter a piston or bust a rod ... Im getting the car prepped (fuel system, ignition, making sure the heads are in good shape, compression check), then its off to Toronto where I'm even getting my computer tuned for it It's a work in progress, not a wet dream. I'm doing it right the first time

Red face Re: check out mine for the heck of it

SVT...umm..nice economy car there..oh wait..its an SVT..the 'fast' version... ...whast your best time at the track SVT?
Im pretty confident even a stock v6 camaro would eat that SVT..except for maybe the first 10 ft cause you got FWD..I personally think that photoshopped picture is one of my FAV colors..oh wait..my car is that Teal and I do like those stripes (on the SS hood) and those clear headlight covers..where can you get those?
I think your car looks great, I originally wanted that 'quasar' blue cause thats the blue my 92 was..got compliments all the time! I love those C5 wheels...I just think with that stripe it does look abit wierd..but nice touch infront of the porsche dealership

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

i feel as though if you are going to put an SVT badge on your car it shouldn't be a complete queermobile. You have no use here other than to rag on peoples cars do you?

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

Yes he did make his comments and I did ask for the comments -- but don't doubt it because its a V6.. Thats the biggest problem people make about my car. Sure, at the moment its fairly slow, but its got a TON of potential.

One of my goals is to be one of if not the first 4th gen V6 (non-Buick 3.8 Turboswap) to pull the front wheels off the line (yeah, tough goal, but I got a lot of tricks in the works) as well as hit atleast low 12s without dope. Tough goal? Yup.. Am I going in the right direction? I'd bet on it.

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

svt i have seen a few of your posts in the last couple of days that have been nothing but bashing other people and their cars. You were claiming how if you "wanted a fast svt you would have bought the cobra" well if he wanted the fast camaro he would have bought the zl1 and killed your cobra.

He posted in the appareance section, not in the "look how fast my car is" section. So get a life. By the way, a queermobile is something i would excpect to see a college girl driving around in. i.e a vw cabriolet or a ford focus hb

Re: check out mine for the heck of it

I have personally never seen a college chiq driving a camaro. EVER. But hey, if you want to call a camaro a gay car, then go right ahead, but then let me ask you this, why the fawk are you posting here? The svt boards dont like the focus' either?
