Clear tailight lenses
#2
Do a search and type in "clear taillight conversion" of something like that.
But it looks like you have a Formula, so I don't know if this will work for you. I am pretty sure the only taillights this will work on is the checkerboard style. I don't think it will work for the honeycomb style either.

I'll post later on how to do this, I'm at work and will post the instructions when I get home.
You can do this with the older style lights, the one with the cross-hatching, and totally red ones, but I don't know about the honeycomb ones.

Okay here's how to mod the tail lights on a Firebird:
You will need: 2 tubes of RTV, a few flathead screwdrivers (various
sizes), Red bulbs.
First remove both tail lights from the car.
There are 4 parts to each tail light, Reflector (inner housing), red
light deflector, White Light deflector, and the clear outer casing. The
assemblies are assembled with a seam sealer material in a grove around the inner and outer housings; the light reflectors are just sandwiched in the seam sealer and the housings.
Slowly pry the inner and outer housings apart, there are 5, if I
remember correctly, metal clips around the housing, imbedded in the seam sealer. Take your time and make sure not to break anything.
When you get it apart you can easily see how everything fits together.
Remove all the old seam sealer in the grove and on the matching flange.
I reassembled the tail lights with just removing the Red Deflector, and I left the Back-Up White deflector, you could remove this also if you wanted to.
Reassemble the tail lights with the RTV in place of the seam sealer,
and remember to reinstall the metal clips. I used about a tube of Ultra
Black RTV on each tail light. Let sit for 12-24 hours to fully cure, and you're done.
This can very easily be undone for whatever purpose, whether you
dislike it, or the cops get ya. The RTV pulls apart a TON easier than that CRAP seam sealer.
Remember the Red bulbs and you're all set, Remember to get all the same
brand for the red bulbs, different companies color their bulbs
differently, and thus the colors are different. I have all APC bulbs you will need 4 3157s, and 2 194s. E-mail me with any questions.

Well to let the cat out of the bag... I'm working on some Hyberbright RED LED tail lights with the Sequential turn signals... Let's just say 18 LEDs per bulb, and 1 is bright enough to blind you if you look directly into it. 6 Bulbs, 18 LEDs.... 108 LEDs... ..
I've got all the curcuit boards made, and the internal part of the bulbs themselves. I've got to make time to get into the machine shop and make the bulb housings out of Aluminum. Just been too busy lately to get in there.
I'll make a post when I get them done. I'm hoping within the next month to have it all done...
Then I just need to find $400 to do my PIAA Firebird headlight Conversion...

I actually made that at a place that I used to work at, it's made from ABS, from a prototype machine. It could be dublicated 1/2 easially out of wood and fiberglass, probably about as hard as making a set of Kick Pods.
I'm using it for my EQ display, but could just as easly be a switch panel as well.
