Yes! Several of my customers clear coat the brake calipers after installing the caliper decals. I also make decals for a guy who makes fuel rail covers and sells them. He paints them with the GM color of the car, applies my decals, then clears over the entire thing. They look great.
Decals can be cleared over without issues from what I have seen
