I was going to mount it the other way but the angle cut on the tips just wouldn't work and look right.

It's hard to tell if that looks very good. Maybe it is because the pics are dark.

It looks like it hangs down quite a bit so be VERY careful backing out of driveways and going forward over speedbumps. Our 35th Anni's CME used to scrape on the driveway all of the time; especially when the trunk was full of groceries. And eventually it broke in half and had to be replaced.

It actually doesn't hang as low as the tips that were on it before. Now that they are gone,it had those gay *** bowtie tips on it. .The valance I will be using will be the Vizage piece and it will have to be modified a little to work.If need be they canbe adjusted up or down,I didn't have them welded, just had some good band clamps put on it.

So far I have been to my bank twice and if it was going to drag it would be there,no problems there.

Isn't the vizages kit going to look weird with the center cut out since it already has openings for exhaust tips on it?

A friend of mine who is doing the paint and body work for me said he can close up the openings in the sides for me with no problem. From what I have seen, the work he does is excellent so there shouldn't be ant problem with the finished valance.

If you wanted to go high dollar and make it possibly look great, you could buy a Corvette rear bumper and make your own lower valance by cutting it maybe!

Have you taken any daylight pics yet? And I agree, it should probably be flipped.

Here's some daylight pics.the first one will show why I couldn't mount the tips with the flat side up due to the angle of the tips.Yes,I know it it dusty, that what you get when you live in the country there isn't much I can do except wash it every day.

Pics are kinda small for some reason. Here's the link to bigger pics.

I think it would look better flipped around, but I see what you were talking about with the angle. Looks different, once you get it blended with the back bumper I'm sure it'll look badass.

I think it would look better upside down too,but hte angle just wouldn't work Got a few adjustments to make and the valance on and I think it will turn out nice.At least it will be different.
