Do i need a new air deflector with a body kit?

I think im getting a xenon body kit, will i need a longer air deflector? the only reason i ask it cause the body kit sort of ends in the middle, i think that most people know what it looks like. if not....

You can pull of not having a larger one with the xenon kit. However, your car will probably run a little hotter. If you do choose to put a bigger one on there, be warned, you will scrape EVERYTHING, even just stopping made my scrape, and I have the stock ride height. Mine finally ripped off the other day and took part of my underside bumper with it. I put the stock one back on and I've been ok.

I am buying one already painted black for $700 shipped, its a good deal and i dont think it includes a longer one, i wouldnt think i would need one becuase if you look at the front, under to grill is the same hieght as stock. so i would think the air could still get there just as easy, I think i would rather buy an SLP fan switch than get a new air delfector.

Put the xenon kit on. If you notice higher temps that are unacceptable, put on the bigger air dam. Simple

I'm with Alucard...you'll just have to strap the kit on to find out. I'm betting that your not going to notice any HUGE difference...probably just a few degrees if anything noticable at all. If you do notice a change in temp...put on a new air dam...or a new low temp t-stat, maybe a hi-flow waterpump...I put one of those on my jeep cherokee.
For any of you that know jeep cherokees....they run hot. Like 210 is normal operating temp for them. Mine...I put in a 160 degree thermostat (the computer needs it to be @ least 156 to close the loop)...then an auxilliary fan, and the biggedst improvement of all...3 core radiator with & HI-flow water pump. Now...that thing STAYS @ 165 no matter what. Ever while off road.
There's lots of things you can do for your cooling system on every car...the thing is...you just gotta find out if you will actually have a cooling problem first.

Just my $.02

Lightbulb BY THE WAY...

by the way...on my Jeep...I took the air dam off all together because I didn't like the way it stuck down. (Having it removed offered me a better angle of approach while offroading.) Again...all those other cooling mods MORE than compensated for it's loss.
