Talking DRL mod, i have a new idea

okay guys,

i have an idea and its a good one, for some of us the DRL mod DIDN'T WORK AT ALL so i've been thinking. if i can't make my current blub light up , why not add another one!!!!

i'm sure we have all seen the merc. courger (1999 for example) it has those stupid euro lights on the fender, its to left people know that your turning if they arn't facing your car

this is the light i'm talking about :

javascriptpenPopWin('/findacar/inc/vdetail/img_popup.jtmpl?search_type=used&car_id=116775178' ,'585','417', 'no'); void('');

Okay.....now how would i wire a light bulb (#194 or bigger and socket) into the low element wires for the turn signals/parking lights.

what i'm thinking is, if i make a hole for the new socket, i can put it next to the turn signal bulb and wire it off the low element wire so that when the parking lights are on the new bulb will light up and give the effect of DRL.( this would make another element and make brighter light=DRL's)

when you flick the turn signal lever the low element light would flash, as would the new bulb and that makes this seemless.

the only problem i have (i think) is the power source for the new bulb, if i hook it into the current ground and low element line, i'm worried that there wouldn't be enough juice to make the bulb light up and then the turn signal wouldn't work either

HOW WOULD I WIRE THIS UP, I'LL GLADLY TEST IT ON MY CAR AND LET YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!

i have the old relays from the first try for the DRL mod, and i think i might need these but i donno..

what do you think, can i do it!!!!!
