Easy question, Pewter or black?

Alright I've narrowed down my search to 2 cars- One is a 2000 and one is a 1999 both are a Camaro SS. One is black and one is pewter and i cant decide on what color to choose. My first car was black and it pretty much sucked, the front end was full of rock chips, the paint was swirled, and it was impossible to keep clean. Pewter doest have the presence of black, but it seems to not show chips, swirls, and water spots as easily as darker colors.
Just wondering what your guys' opinions are.
Thanks

My friend has a pewter Z28, he rarely washes it and it always looks clean my SOM on the other hand needs to be washed almost daily, i would go with the pewter.

Black is alot harder to keep clean and it shows alot of imperfections, but i think it is deffinately worth the extra work to make it look good. All of my cars have been black and i wouldnt have it any other way.

Here is a picture of mine.

But in the end, its up to you.

If you have access to a garage, car port, and a lot of time and car wash, go with the black. Black looks wayyyyyy better. But I also like the pewter. I used to have silver and you could get away with a lot of things.

Re: Easy question, Pewter or black?

Honestly I do not care for pewter. Even when it is clean it looks dirty! It blends in. I love having black cars but I spend ALOT of time cleaning them. I will say if you arent going to keep a black car clean, buy pewter!
