Fresh out of the garage...

It has been over a year since I parked my car in the garage for the facelift. The brakes and alignment are finally done, so I got to drive her for the first time in quite awhile.

My first impressions are that it was well worth the wait and money. It has tons of power and is actually alot more street friendly that I had psyched myself into thinking. The Yank 3600 and Performabuilt 4L60E are pretty tame at low rpm's but they let you know that they mean business when you get on it.

One of the best feelings about the build is the ride of stock springs. I switched out the Eibach springs for stockers and will never go back. Everything is smoother and much less harsh even with all the rod ended suspension. I love the look of the new wheels and Nitto 315's.

Everything fired up good and I got oil pressure right away. Very soon I will post up a clip of the CC503 and true duals. It sounds like it wants to eat little children...

Fresh from getting the alignment done and brakes bled.

I can't wait to get back from IL next week and fine tune that PCM for ya! If you thought she's running good now, wait untill i'm done tweeking her.

While I'm in there...lol

I do have to give a big thanks to Brad for helping out so much on this build. Without him, I would still have the motor on a stand and scratching my head.

Love the rims. They would look sweet on my white 3rd gen. Are they Torque Thrusts?

Out of curiosity, are the custom plates still flat like the new Arizona ones?

Car looks awesome too. I love the rims.

Yes the custom plates are flat like the new original plates. I was hoping that the letters were raised like the older style. Sadly I was disapointed.

That looks incredible! I don't care what anybody says. The early 4th gens are timeless, and should go down in history as one of the GREAT car designs. Everybody always talks about Ferraris and stuff having such great designs, but has there ever been a car at the price of a Camaro that looked so amazing? I don't think so!

And I rent cars... quite a lot... and I have yet to have found a car with better ergonomics. This Chrysler Town & Country I had this week was built so weird that I couldn't reach the radio very well, and controling the HVAC without looking down was impossible! The 4th gen Camaro was perfect! The only thing it lacks is ability to vent outside air without having the fans on or AC compressor, but I suppose that's what windows are for...? Do our windows really work though?
