Gauge mounting for 94 camaro

Ok I've got three gauges I want to put in my Z since I am installing a Procharger. I have a boost/vaccum, wideband A/F, and fuel pressure. I thought (wishfull thinking) that the tripple pod full pillar for a 97 to 02 car would work without modificaton or very little modification. Apparently not. To make it work I would have to butcher the pod and even then it wouldn't be right. So what are my options? I think I am going to ditch my AC and heater so I could stick 'em in place of the controls if all else fails. Could a 97-02 a pillar fit in my 94 around the stock dash? I really don't want to buy the dual pod and then a single aswell. I think that would end up pretty half assed looking. (No offense to those that have done it.) I would like to keep them pretty visable at all times. Any Ideas?

i custom made a gauge holder in that spot as well, under the radio. Doesn't look to bad, but I plan on changing it around a little bit to make it look more stock. I just used some plexiglass and then covered it with black vinyl.

The full pillar pod for 98-02 just lays over the stock pillar. If I were you, I'd get that and just cut the bottom off where it's shaped differently that the lt1 pillar.

That's what I was planning on doing but you would end up cutting a big chunk out of the bottom pod. Already bought it and compared it to the pillar.
