GREAT upgrade for those crappy headlights!! (photos w/ in)

Re: GREAT upgrade for those crappy headlights!! (photos w/ in)
I've had my setup on for about three years. I had some trouble with the initial install and broke one of the plastic 'pop in adjuster' thingies. I got it to work with a generic HELP style headlight adjuster. Now three years later another 'pop in adjuster' thingie fractured. I was able to make do with a piece of conduit fastener so at least I can adjust the light properly now.
Wonder if anyone has a better system of installing these?
Once they are in and secure (even 2 of the 3 adjusters ) it's not the easiest to remove and redo.

I fastened my HID retrofitted 90mm modules with 3 standard 1/4-20 bolts and a bunch of washers and nuts. I get the adjustment close tightening by hand, then I tighten the nuts a little and fine adjust using the phillips head on the bolt. Once it's all where I want it, I tighten the nuts holding the bolt with a phillips head screwdriver.
I have had the lights out again after installation, leaving the bolts and all but the very back nuts on the light and I was able to put them back in without barely having to adjust them. Works much better than the adjusters that come with the lights.

Do you have pics of the adjusters you used?
Has anyone used the 'Mounting Plate'?

Anyone using these?

Are they easier to mount than the Hella 90mm?
Can you run HIDs in the FF75s? What HID bulbs would you need?
Can you run FF75s as fog lights?

I guess you could put a H7 HID kit in them, but these lights are really only good as high beam/driving lights. And the constant switching on and off you usually do with high beams will wear out the HID bulbs and ballasts pretty quick, not to mention your wiring (16A / lamp on startup). Using these lights as low beams is downright dangerous, since they do not have a cutoff. Putting a HID kit in them is going to make the glare even more than it already is stock, so I would highly discourage that.

what i find interesting is the difference in brightness between viewing through the windsheild and sticking your head out the window looking forward. better visibility without the windshield in the way.

where would I purchase these lights? Also will they come with the mounting bracket, sorry If someone has posted this exact same question, I was too lazy to read through the whole 17 pages
