I would be very interested in a bezel of some kind to finish the look! Not to mention to protect the lights! I already have cracked lens!

I did find it necessary to reshape the tops and very slightly enlarge the lamp opening to make them work.

Not sure how to protect them without putting them behind a cover.
Anytime you want to scan dimensions on the mounting bracket so I can make a set LMK

What do you mean with "scan dimensions on the mounting bracket so I can make a set"?

I'm too cheap to get the spendy mounting brackets from Susquehanna. If I new the dimensions I'd fab up my own (or make my buddy fab 'em for me )
Looking at the link now they are $10.20 ea. http://www.rallylights.com/hella/90mm_modules.asp
I swear they were more expensive before?
Guess I could just stop being lazy and use this as a reference to make my own.

If you have the ability to make them yourself, go for it. The hole sizes need to be precise to fit the adjusters and the thickness has to be suitable for the adjusters too. I'd just bite the bullet and pay Susquehana's price. There's already enough fabrication time involved in the rest of the project.

I've got a set of the 90mm lights that I was going to use in another project.... I was showing your pics to my stepson and suggested we use the lights in his 96 Camaro. He doesn't like the round headlight look, and I admit I don't either. So I had an idea to use mirrored lexan or mylar or something like that as a surround. From a few yards away, you wouldn't realize anything had been changed, I think. What do you think?

The round light look has grown on me to the point where I like it just as much as the stock lights, maybe better. But the improvement in lighting is so great that its a moot point anyway. The nice thing about ABS is its easy to work. You can drill, file, and sand it, it works quickly and is fairly flexible so you don't really have to worry about breaking it. A more rigid material might be more difficult to work with. On the other hand, if it produces something you like better, give it a try.
