I have always wondered what the point of the solar wing is. If you tint the rear window, the wings purpose is negated.

However, I have seen it on a Z with body color on the exterior B-posts. The wing was then painted body color, it gave the car a unique look.

Here is one on a Camaro painted the same color as the car.

I also think it is useless with tint. Besides the fact that it just looks out of place on an FBody. But hey, it's your car, do what you want, just don't fuss when everyone starts complaining about you making your car ricey or something else other than muscle.

I have the RK Sport one on my car so if anyone wants pics let me know. My back window is tinted but up top were the factory dots were it is kind of bubbly. I got the solar wing to make that less noticable. At first I thought it looked weird, but it really grows on you. I've got all kinds or positive comints about it and everyone likes it.

I've only seen one in person, on a firebird a couple weeks back. I actually liked it. I've seen a lot of pictures, I'd check out WhiteLion2 's site on cardomain, it's a 95 V6 too. But I like it on there as well.

I think of it as more of a styling thing than a purpose thing. I"ve seen wings like that on a lot of older mustangs...so I don't think it's too ricey. I can't recall seeing one on a honda.

Do you think this low 11 second SS looks "ricey"?

If you want to take flight with that wing, by all means.........

I, for one never said it was ricey, Brent. Just stating the fact that he'll be putting up with those comments. Care to assume more?

I didn't assume anything

...just don't fuss when everyone starts complaining about you making your car ricey...
[speaking to camarokid if he sticks on the solar wing]

....or something else other than muscle.

So you didn't assume anything. But for your knowledge, I never once myself called it ricey. I said that I think it's useless with tint and that I think it looks out of place, but not ricey. I like how you choose certain parts of what I say.

Everyone has their own opinions. I do not think it is ricey. Other people see it as that or something else other than muscle.
