GTS Taillight logo removal

I have a set of GTS tallight covers, which have a small GTS logo (looks more like GTO from >2ft away) on the bottom of both sides. Just wondering if anyone know of, or could recommend, a way to remove them? preferrably without sanding them off...
pix of what i'm talking about:

Aren't they just stickers? I just sprayed adhesive cleaner on and then pulled 'em off if I remember right.

tried spraying and peeling today, no luck. They feel more like they're painted/printed on. I tried prying up one edge with an exacto knife and it just scraped through. Any other suggestions?

You could try non-acetone nail polish remover, but it might cloud the lenses. Regular nail polish remover (with acetone) will DEFINITELY cloud the lenses and ruin them.

That's wierd. I always wondered why other people left those on.

If it were me, I'd probably coat it heavily with the adhesive cleaner I use (3M general purpose adhesive cleaner) and scrape it off with my nails. I'm sure if other people did something like that they'd use Goo-Gone or whatever and a razor blade, but I've never damaged anything this way so that's what I do

Idk if a clay bar would help any but it might be worth a shot.. or maybe like a rubbing compound or polish before resorting to sanding.

throw them away and buy VHT nightshades from summit racing and then clear them after you paint them looks sooo much better and don't have to worry about taking the covers on and off to clean them.

I agree, the vht looks alot better and lets more light though so they are a bit safer. you should be able to get the niteshade at a parts store though instead of through summit. I would also suggest putting a couple coats of clear on top of the vht. if you don't it will have more of a flat appearance.

Thanks for the help guys, I got them off finally. I used rubbing compound and about 1/2 hour of rubbing for both.

In regards to the VHT nightshade, I'd like to, but I'm not sure if I'd pass the yearly inspection with them. As it is, I took these covers off just to be safe.
I'm planning on getting a pair of 93-96 taillights and nightshading them so I can just swap back if i get in trouble.

In any case, thanks! Looks much better now
