Headlight Conversion

1995 M6 z28. i wanted to put the HD bulbs in the headlights for better light. i live in the country and theres alot of windy roads, with lots of deer. can see crap with my stock headlights someone told me i would have to get a conver kit to do this because when replacing the lights you just replace the whole sqaure light. anyone got any ideas how to do this?

Re: Headlight Conversion

off the topic a lil but did you know about deer whistlers? I use to have them by my fog lights when I lived in the Mountains. CHP have them on there cars and they do work. $5 at walmart.

I know my boy had HID lights on his LT1 but don't remember his set up.

Re: Headlight Conversion

I'm no lighting expert, but you can put Silverstar bulbs inside the stock lamps. Take a look at my sticky topic at the top of this Appearance forum and I go through the process step by step. It's really easy.

I've seen plenty of cars that have hit deer with whistles on them...they don't work.
