Re: Help with install of body kit

If its just the ground effects use the tape and some screws to hold it in place. Run the screws through the lip that connects to the car fender wells. This is pretty much all I used when I had mine on. On the front run screws all the way around, once you place the piece up to the nose you'll see an over lapping part up under the nose. Hope this helps. I didn't install min the body shop did, but as far as I can remember thats the only place they screw it in and I never had any trouble.

As for the bodykit, you can either use tape, tape with screws, or just screws. I have the WW F-1 OEM bodykit (front and sides, rear piece is different) and I have it held on 100% with screws, I didn't use tape at all because I didn't want the tape to show. My rear piece is a Vizage / Stella rear bodykit piece, and i used tape on that with screws. It works, but you can see the tape.

Unfortunately, hondah8ter seems to spend most of his time here trashing the other members for having ideas that are a bit different than his. His posts of that ilk will simply be deleted, and if he continues, he will be banned. His actions have already been noticed by Brent and JasonD, and he has been warned.

Re: Help with install of body kit

On my wings west w-type gfx I used mostly the tape with a couple extra self tapping screw's here and there and I never had any problems.
