HELP installing new dash

HELP installing new dash

im installing a new dash for my 95 camaro and need some assistance before i decide to just start pulling on things. what do i need to try and take off first? pillars need to go or not? if so how? little help is appreciated. i can tear apart my console and under dash and bezels with no prob. this is my first time on the uppder dash. thanks in advance.

You will need to take the a-pillars off, along with the kick panels I believe.

I would also reccomend takign off the steering wheel. Another thing that helps a lot is dropping the steering column. There are two bolt holding it up to the dash, and if you drop it down it will make it a ton easier. Wish I would have known that when I took mine out. It helped a lot putting it back in.

Are you kidding me? LOL

If it's cracked, just pull up and rip the ****ing thing out, who cares it's going in the garbage anyways. I didn't remove **** to take mine out.....just rip it out, if it breaks in pieces it breaks, who cares. The new one just snaps right in.

i do like this way and im sure ill go along and do it myself with the standard precautions cuz it sounds fun as h*** but do i still need to take off the pillars whenever the new one is placed in? will they get in the way or will the new dash pad just snap into place around them?
