Re: HID headlights

after over a month, i finally have the headlights in. have pics on my cellphone, and ill upload them when i feel less lazy. first off, this review has to be in 2 parts. seller and manufacturer. seller:complete and utter crap. took a month to get me all my stuff, and had to send emails, call, and eventually open a paypal dispute to get him to send everything. manufacturer: (spec d) fitment is good (not quite OEM, but for an aftermarket headlight, not bad), cutoff line is extremely clean, but it turns up on the right, which is normal, but it does so too early. not really an issue, honestly. light output is good, and with the halos and LEDs turned on at night, they look *amazing*. dont look bad during the day either. the headlights were packed and shipped to me by the manufacturer, and that was done exceptionally well, so no complaints there. moral of the story: go ahead and buy from spec d if they sell something you like, just dont do it through ohiospeedshop.com.

Re: HID headlights

The cut-off should have the rise in it so that it lines up with the center line in the road. Most people barely notice it anyway.

Glad to see you are finally satisfied- and you separated the review- some people judge the product by the seller- which isn't always fair, this case is perfect example of why...

In for pics..

Re: HID headlights

only good pic i managed to get with my phone. for some reason, whenever i have the lights on, the phone acts like its glaring. even the halos, lol. ill have to borrow a real camera. and the rise lining up with the center makes sense. i think its about right. the one on the right seems to go a bit too high though, and i think i might blind people for a bit while passing. ill see if i can fix it
