How did ya'll remove the Z badges?

How did ya'll remove the Z badges?

Im wanting to do the retro z badges for my car and of course have to remove the old ones. How did ya'll do it? Dealer? Yourself? Thanks.

Hehe........you type like how you talk.

I took mine off with a hair dryer to get them nice and plyable and then simply peeled it off. The leftover crap I removed with some Goof Off. They cleaned up really nice.

It's pretty simple.

use a razor scrapper and be sure to keep it on the badge side of the adhesive tape.. once you get it off you can get a rubber eraser wheel and get the rest of the tape off.. or you could just ask your local dealership.. i doubt they'd charge you..

Problem with trusting the dealer to do it is they would most likely jack it up like they do everytime.

Scary..razor blade...... I used fishing line and a hair dryer. Dont use a heat gun because you might burn the paint.

oih yeah.. i forgot agbout the fishing line.. that works great too.. so does mig wire if you have any around.. and stickers and badges are two diff things.. i only reccomended the razor becuase thats what i do.. but i have some expirence under my belt.. enought that i can pull it off with a flat spackle knife and a hammer if need be..lol
