If you go back to stock-style lamps, can you do a write up with pics for taking apart the stock-style lamps, changing the bulbs, and sealing them up?
I'm not a headlight enthusiast, and know nothing about HIDs, Xenon, etc. and don't really care to learn all that stuff. I'm just a guy who has a couple of dead bulbs in lamps I've been saving. I just want something a LITTLE brighter, not massively. If the stock bulbs in the '98-'02 lights are better, I'd rather just use something like that.

Tried my hand soon after this was posted, but neglected to come back and show my results. Oops. This was a great write-up! I ordered everything necessary right after reading it and was able to get the job knocked out in an evening. Love how it turned out and the light output is fantastic.

The quick install was really thanks to the write-up. Made things really straight forward. I took a bunch of pics during the install, but I don't think any were daytime. I'll have to snap some when I get the car cleaned up. I am running HIDs all around; low, hi & fogs with projector fog lights and low beams. I originally kept halogen in the highs, but the HIDs work so much better on the back roads and I really don't want to hit any critters.

I have been busy with my house and haven't had much time with the car, still waiting to put in HID's in mine- but certainly looking forward to them.
The warm-up sucks with the HID's, but I love the added light. I have them in my truck and its almost like driving during the day.
Did you wire your fog-lights to stay on with the highs too?

Funny that you mention that now -- I do not have my fog and high beams wired to be on at the same time, but I decided to put that at the top of my to do list just a few days ago. On another note, the cutoff on the low beams work so well that I found it difficult to read signs above the cutoff that were not being illuminated. Ended up angling my fogs upward slightly to solve that.

What part # did you use for the headlights?
Did you trim down the adjustment screws any?
I was looking for different headlights that fit the same vehicle (so i could use this but with a different style) and the adjustment screws all look to be like 3-4 inches tall above the lights (would create a bit of a clearance problem).
Thx for any info...

I didn't have to trim the adjustment screws down any, but I don't have a stock hood either, so I'm not sure how it will fit in your car.
As far as the adjustment screws go, if they are too tall just cut them down, then take a dremel and cut a slot into them and use a regular screwdriver to adjust them.
