I saw these pics and now cant find them. it was a black z28 ,newer, but it had like late 60s early 70s emblems on it. It was the coolest. Thought i could do it, but my car is blue so i dont know how it would look.

I think I have pics of the black Z you're talking about. Look here.

I was just shopping for some at Super Chevy Show in INDY last weekend. I wanted to get some feedback as to who has the best ones to mount on the 4th gen. I was looking at some show quality restoration ones that had quite a bend in them (for the front quarters), also wanted to get some feedback as to best mounting technique? ANY Ideas or opinions are appreciated

I had the early 70s style emblems on my NBM 98. they look cleaner in my opinion. I don't have any digital pics to post.
I ground the studs off the back and used 3M moulding tape to fix them to the fenders and rear.

I wanted the clssic color scheme, but also wanted the newer script. Pinstripe tape, exacto knife and more time than I have these days. Hopefully the link will work.

That's my car in the pics. I bought NOS '68 badges with the tabs on the back. I slightly bent the emblems to better fit the contour of this body vs the 68, dabbed some red paint on the tabs, got them straight, and touched the body. The red paint left a small dot where I needed to drill. Then after drilling removed the inner fender plastic just enough to get my arm in there and tightend the nuts down. Pretty straight forward and I get compliments on them alot. More importantly I like them.
