Indiglo gages; Cool? or Too much Rice?
So what do you think about the reverse indiglo gages for the F-Body's? Do they look good? Or do they make our cars look like they took a bad turn down rice lane?

From pictures on ebay, I think they look kind of weird, but in my opinion, they need to be seen in person. I really can't pass judgement until I see them in person (don't know when that's going to happen since I don't go to 'night' car shows though). They kind of look like they belong in an arcade driving game, not in a real car. Anyone have any shots that show what they look like in a sort of dark environment, but not pitch black? I've only seen pics of them in pitch black environments. I want to see what they look like in a 7 p.m. environment.

I have the indiglo gauges and I think they look good... I looked at different sets and I got them because I liked the stock font style on the white face better than the others I saw... I have them set on the lowest brightness setting at night though because med-high is too bright and distracting... I've had issues with the inverter... The old one would make them flicker sometimes at night.. I bought a new inverter and they work fine now... When I switch over my dash to a 2000 I'm going to get McEwen white or silver face though.

I loved my indiglo gauges. They did stop working on me though, but then again they were only 20 bucks on ebay. They really did look great, and I got complements from everybody on them. I plan on getting another pair ot them soon to go along with the rest of my interior mods.

Re: Indiglo gages; Cool? or Too much Rice?
I am just trying to get opinions. I am undecided if it will look good with my Z or not. Right now I have the silver bezel on the stock dash. I don't know if the white looks good with the silver in the day. I might go with the silver overlays, but I also have to think of my other gages I will be putting on the A-pilar as well. Unfortunatly, for the A-pilar gages, I like the black gages w/ white numbers, which matches my set up now. I would like to change my set up, I am just torn with the combination of what I want, and think would look good. Overall I want all the gages to match with either a black, or silver, or white background.

Personally, if I was wanting to do some sort of dash mod, I'd just try to get bulbs that would match the color of my car's paint put into the stock dash. Like, if you had a purple Camaro, purple bulbs (black light lightbulbs?) would look awesome. Then again, I have lime green ones in my Corolla and my car is just a boring, common, silver color. It looks kind of nice at night though... I don't know if it is stock or modded... I'd have to assume stock since the lime green isn't irritatingly bright enough for my taste

I know I own a Mustang but I have those reverse glow gauage overlays and I think they look cool. Doesn't seem ricey to me. I don't know if your talking about the same thing... but whatever.
