Post Just installed HID's in my 97 Z28. AWESOME!!!

I just got done installing my Philips/Hella 9006 6000K HID kit for my 97 30th Anniversary Z28. I was iffy on doing the install mainly because everyone said the beam pattern would be all messed up. Well let me just inform the people that dont know what they are talking about that you were all wrong. The Beam pattern is identical to the original halogen beam. I used the same glass housing (H4351) by just prying out the original bulb and replacing it with the Philips D2S capsule. The bulbs in the kit I bought were designed to have the point at which light comes out to be at the exact same location as where the filament would be on a normal 9006 halogen bulb. The install went very well and I couldnt be more impressed with the lights. How many Camaros have you seen with real HID headlights? Besides me havent seen one ever. I will be getting pictures and short vids of the HID's turning on soon.

I have NEVER seen the 6000k kit which u said u got. That is the ONLY HID kit which i think is worth the $$$$.

Those are extremely rare. What was the best $ u found ? ? I can't wait to see pics.

I paid $366 shipped to my door. By far the best price anywhere. And dont think I got some cheapo parts either. The bulbs are D2S Philips and the Ballasts are made by Hella. As I said before the bulbs were made to match lengths perfectly of the normal 9006 bulbs so the beam pattern is correct. BTW, they are also under warranty. Cant beat that. Couldnt be more happier with them. I think the price of this kit just recently went to to $370 plus shipping which is stil the cheapest you can get. I will try and get pics as soon as possible.

Yeah definitely post pics.
I just changed my bulbs to Eurolite hyper-white/(blue tint). You're no doubt looks better, but the bulb swap is still noticeable

Yes the kit includes just the 2 low beams. If you are interested in also purchasing a set of the 9006 6000K HID's contact:
Alan Jung at Misterjung@aol.com either by
e-mailing him or just IM'ing him. He is very helpful and you have his word on everything he says. I couldnt be more happy with his service and product.

I also have some info for anyone who does install these on their cars. Since only very few people have done this please contact me also and I can walk you through the install. Even though it is basically all plug and play there is still a couple tricky parts. Please e-mail me directly at JTS90SC@AOL.COM and I will get right back to you with pics and install info.
Thanks
J.T.
