Getting Gmmg exhaust here in few days with the oval tips. Which tips should i put on it? gmmg oval tips? or corsa full premium tips? the only downside to corsa tips is that i will have to gettho rig them somhow since they are meant to go on a 3inch pipe not a 2.5.

Corsa hands down They look badass!! Just get a 2.5 to 3 adapter. Post pics when you get it together

 

I have Mecham tips (meant for 3") on my GMMG. I just search around a couple auto parts stores in the area till I found a couple adapters. The badters were like $14 a piece though. You can kind of see them here:

Well I'm kinda in the same boat. Someone vandalized my GMMG tip [I suppose some kind of kicking action was involved] and now I only have one left. I am trying to contact GMMG to see if they will even sell me some since I already own the catback. But I was thinking of going to some Corsa dual/dual tips. Anyone know where to buy some? Also is the tailpipe size on GMMG 2.75" or is it 2.5" Thanks.

EDIT: I just spoke with Corsa about buying the tips seperately and I didnt know they were $360. Looks like the GMMG's are just going to go back on. Although I did get an invite to come up to the Corsa factory and check out the exhausts in person. Might be worth the hour drive.

Kicking action? Out of all the parts on your car someone decided to kick your exh tips? :O

 

Unless someone has a better idea, I'd like to know how 10-12" of weld would suddenly break. I never back into anything, its not touching, rubbing or anything. I dont think its out of the relm of possibility.

I'd just stick with the GMMG tips.

 

Corsa premium tips. MUCH better than GMMG tips IMO.

You guys are lucky. I brought hte Corsa tips before they were actually available to the market seperately.... had to get them only by buying the kit... I paid $450.00 forthe set. I love em though.
