Wow, how much HP loss did the 19 make you lose? I know 18 inch rims normally average about a 10 HP loss, seriously, so I could only imagine how much slower 19s would be. You're probably bottoming out with the tire hitting the underside of the fender. Check to make sure the fender doesn't have burn marks under it where the tire would hit. What size tires do you have? Sidewall height?

Eh, not sure about your dyno reports, where they from the crank or to the wheel? There was an article in some mag not too long ago where the 18 inch rims made a loss of power, like 10hp. Think about it, you're adding these rims that are much heavier to your car, which decreases the HP because your car has to use more energy to move the heavier tires. While it's not much, it can make a difference.
30 / 35s don't seem to thick, but check anyway maybe it's rubbing when you hit bumps.

Depends on the kit. How does your air dam hold up? If your air dam eats the road, then yeah chances are your kit's going to get torn. I installed the Wings West F-1/RS OEM Kit, and my air dam is actually about the same height, actually looks like it hangs down just a tad lower than the bodykit. I haven't had a problem, but I can't lower my car because I live in Michigan and my car's a 365-even-in-snow driver. It can be done, though. I've seen a few people who have theirs lowered, bodykit and all. Definitely makes the car look mean and REALLY close to the ground and bottoming out, but as long as you don't have horrible roads around ya, go for it.

Normally the air dams for kits do come with an air dam that's even lower, specifically for the kit. Mine is the RS kit, with all the "holes" in the front, air can still get through fine. I have ZR1 17x9.5, 275/40/17 tires. Bodykit, but not lowered. I haven't had any problems thus far. I forgot about the air dam on most aftermarket bodykits being replaced with an even lower one. Pics of my car are in sig, click the "Red Alert" link

Re: question for people with 19's rims lowered and body kit
Don't forget, what is more important for rubbing considerations is tire size and wheel offset and not so much wheel diameter.
Very often I hear people talking about 18s run and 20s rub, etc. What is important is the overall package. You can have 15" diameter wheels with tires that rub but have 20" wheels with properly sized tires that do not rub.
So, just keep that in mind... the overall package is what is important and not so much just having 15s or 20s

Re: question for people with 19's rims lowered and body kit
I just read your other thread which is basically the same (???) but think I misunderstood your "rub" question.
Whenever you lower a car and put ground effects on it, you do have to consider your driving conditions and the kit itself. For example, the Wings West kit like I have is probably about the worst there is due to the front piece sticking down and out a good distance. This is not good at all for speed bumps or steep inclines. If this is something you need to consider then look at some of the other kits that don't have such "radical" front pieces.
With my kit there are just some places I can't go. If that were my daily driver car, I'd have to likely take that kit off and do something else because my car is lowered and the WW kit doesn't like steep inclines or speed bumps at all
Also, I'll merge these two threads since they are basically the same.
