Well, it's going to have to be '93-'96 no matter what. But I don't think the shifter location is the same, but could be wrong.

Boot

Shifters are in different positions. I am headed to a local auto graveyard Saturday and see what I can come with. I think Locar makes one that fits this console.

Oh yeah! Up and running!

Took it out for a drive. Just a note: when running the shifter cable, be sure to reconnect the Vehicle speed sensor you unhooked to run the cable or it won't shift out of first. (Ask me how I know, LOL)

It's a hoot, just like my old Camaros. I let a friend drive it and he was like a kid at Christmas, giggling. We are going to do his Firebird now.

Did you ever get a boot or a manual bezel for this?

Looks WAY better, but pull off the shift pattern 'nugget' to get the 10, I rate it a 9.9 right now...lol

Almost did

Aww man, I missed it by 1/10 of a point. LOL Thanks though.
I'm glad I didn't pull the nugget, I'm swapping out the 4L60E for a T-56 and that's one less part I had to change.

You have to have the plastic M6 insert/cover. I have another one but it is cracked and missing tabs.
A lot of people are selling them on the boards and Ebay for a few dollars.
From what I have seen, they are the same consoles in both year cars.

I had a blast with this shifter in the car. A couple of friends decided to put one in their cars.

Works perfectly with M6 insert. Just make sure you have it far enough fowards so as not to hit the ashtray.
