my car is lowered 2.5" and i have ground effects and longtubes with a 4" y-pipe. the only thing i've ever scraped is the drivers side of my y-pipe
never try to back up an incline(like up a drive that has any type of hill to it. pulling in will work but backing in wont.
the RS style ground effect will keep your car cooler. mint runs at 210 if i dont keep the defrost on. even with a 180 stat. WW sells an air deflector to help with some of their kits.
Good luck with them and post some pics when you get it finnished.
