Re: painting intake manifold
I bought some high-temp paint from Advance Auto............It's held up VERY well. It has been on there almost a year now, no fade, no discoloration. It's called Dupli-color engine enamel ceremic........500* I went over it with red about six or seven times (letting it dry 15 minutes between coats) then put 4-5 coats of clear coat (also Dupli-color). The black is also the same thing. Once again, I was VERY impressed with the outcome.
*EDIT* It looks kinda orange in the pics...........it's bright red in person.
