wow your car looks amazing.. is that an ss spoiler? if so how much did you pay and did it just bolt right on?

 

Yep, a 98-02 SS spoiler. $192 shipped rings a bell, plus paint. Got it on ebay, I believe the seller was thespoilercompany. And yeah, direct swap, just had to splice the light as it didn't come with a plug, just bare wires.

95ltslow, where do you live? I hate to be a vulture, but if the car is totaled, I see some parts on your car that I may be interested in buying from you.

I looked at the other 40 pics on photobucket and can't imagine that disaster happening. What caused the branch to fall? Is the tree dead? Bores? Termites? Ants?

Yea i don't cry but i came home to that and shed a tear.
Im in N.Y. It happened last month during a storm. Thats a branch off of a tree. Shattered the hatch,pass. t-top, pass. window, spoiler, and the quarter panel is destroyed. I already replaced everything besides the 1/4 panel. But the car is going to the body shop next week i hope. Also bought an SS spoiler to go along with it.

As far as the branch falling off. It was a combination of age and wind. That branch when it was part of the tree sits at least 10-15 feet behind where I parked my camaro. I'm still trying to figure out how it made it that far over and cleared the power lines. I got about 50 pics of the car and the tree. I'm still dumbfounded.
