Question Replacing Z28 badges?

Well I'm not totally sure what I wanna do, so I want your guys opinions:

1) Keep the Z28 badges as is.

2) Replace badges with "Ultra Z" badges.

3) Replace badges with 350 badges (But the LS1 engine is 346)

4) Find a company to make 346 badges.

Also I do like the 69 Z28 badges, but I think they want way to much $$$ for them, so thats out of the picture.

Do u have the SLP Ultra Z intake package ?

If so, I would put the Ultra Z decal on the sides of the hood itself, and get the 346 emblems to replace your Z28 emblems

I just have the SLP intake, and I have the SLP loudmouth on order (should get it in a week). As for the Ultra Z hood, I wanna get one, but that won't be till next year.

I'm leaning towards putting 346 badges on, but the only thing is that they don't make them , I need to find a place that can make me some.

Hmmm.. maybe just get the vinyl 346 badges made and mount them low, like where callaway has their logo. that would look sweet IMO. Here is a pic of where I had the badges mounted low on my first camaro:

hmmm, the idea of makin them out of vinyl isn't that bad... since I do alot of computer graphics maybe I can come up with a clever design with the 346 #'s and then have a place cut it out of vinyl for me... but if I can find a place that will cut-out hard plastic (like the stock Z28 badges) then it would look much better on the car then just a vinyl badge.

I bet the same place that would do vinyl signs could do plastic logos too.

Here's a place to go for custom vinyl graphics:
http://www.speedgraphics.net

I got my CamaroHighway.com windsheild banners custom made from there.
They're quick, inexpensive, and they do great work. Check them out.

JMO for the little extra money the '69 emblems cost, they give it an extra touch well worth the money. I get more comments on them than the wheels or any other part of my car.

JETMAN95Z28 - How much did you pay for your badges?

Speed inc wants $70 a pair and I need 3, I think that is just way to pricey for a few badges

I got mine from www.nextgenparts.com (Year One) for about $38 ea. and granted they weren't cheap BUT they do definitely make a visual statement. Theye are Genuine GM replacement items, chromed metal, and red painted on the Z and silver on the 28. It only took about an hour or so to do, and made a big difference.... in my opinion anyway. I don't know what color your car is but mine is black, and the stock black emblems vanish at more than 2 feet away. Check out the pics in my signature.
