Those head light asemblies with the bulb set ups dont look half bad. I got some Xtra visions on my 93, work o.k. I would like to do some thing like that in the future though.

Thumbs up

I put them in my Mom's 98 Buick Ultra. I drive this car more than I drive my Camaro and I think that they are worth it. They put out a brighter white than the regular hologens that defenatly makes it easier to see at night. I've driven cars with HID's and there's still no comparison, but the Silverstars are defenatly the next best thing.

I think they have H4 bulbs... so he can't just replace the H4 bulb and re-silicone it ?

H4 bulbs aren't usually permanently sealed..that's why I ask..
You are correct sir. They are more of a pain than the Camaro stock, but they do at least have a a replacement housing that is high quality (our AutoOptiks choice).

I am pretty sure they are H4's, but the problem is that the bulb isn't glued into the glass like ours, it is made into it. Like the one seen on the left here. The one on the right is the same concept as a replacement housing with a plug and play style bulb.

The reason I know all of this is because we were going to fool with my buddies TA and we stopped right after we started - not a whole lot he could do for cheap.

I think Hella makes some that size - you may want to check into if you decide to go that route. I also know Eurolite (Eurocrap) makes some. O'Reilly autoparts catalog has a few different ones listed in it - just FYI.

I think upgrading your headlights is a great safety feature. Most of us haul butt and at night the improved lighting could save you or someone else's life.
