Mark, I've mentioned to you twice in the past about creating topics specifically for the products you offer.

Chris and Jason are very firm on this especially when you have been previously warned. If Chris/Jason see this kind of stuff and know of the previous warning(s) they may just send the bill so at least I noticed it this time.

Please don't keep attempting to push the issue. Thanks!

I know, this sucks, but without the advertisers this site would not be able to stay up and we can't be upsetting the advertisers. Thanks for understanding.

I was simply expressing (okay, maybe bragging a bit, wouldn't you?) how honored I was to have my decals featured in the magazine. So I gave a link to a place where people could get them. You would have. Maybe you guys should ask yourself why this site is the only one that www.afterthoughtsauto.com isn't a sponsor.

Didn't we have an agreement? I wish I had saved the e-mails I exchanged with Jason. Perhaps he's forgotten about our agreement that in exchange for the use of some of my photos for your screensaver, I could give info on where to get them (decals) within a thread without it being an outright advertisement. My thread was about having something that I made and am proud of featured in a tech article in a magazine. I think that counts within our agreement, that is if you guys stand by your word. Do you?

Thanks Sean. Let me know when you want the Z06 style gauges.

EYOW! What a cheap shot! Damn!

Didn't we have an agreement?
Yes, we did, I dug up the e-mails and ironically, it was a year ago to the day that we started talking.

I wish I had saved the e-mails I exchanged with Jason. Perhaps he's forgotten about our agreement that in exchange for the use of some of my photos for your screensaver, I could give info on where to get them (decals) within a thread without it being an outright advertisement.
I think you might a bit mistaken. I still have the e-mails and I can send them to you if you like. The images for the screen saver was for a free copy of the screen saver, which is the same deal everyone who contributes gets. The image of your car that I used ws GREAT, and if you didn't get yours, please e-mail me. That is what we agreed on. The other part was me letting it slide for a bit when you post in reply to someone asking where to get the decals. I just wanted to help you out because I knew you couldn't pay advertising fees.

The other part was an image I wanted to use for the site. It was one with you and your buddy racing side-by-side. I haven't used it yet I hope to in the near future but I don't think that had anything to do with our "agreement".

My thread was about having something that I made and am proud of featured in a tech article in a magazine. I think that counts within our agreement, that is if you guys stand by your word. Do you?
Hey, that is great and I would be proud as well. Did you forget that I wanted to do an article as well? Well anyway, give me an e-mail if you need any clarification because I don't think we are on the same page. I mean, it has been a year and I don't think that you are taking advantage of the situation, but maybe you should give me a shout so we can make sure there are no more misunderstandings...and no more cheap shots!

I saw you in Bowling Green and I wanted to meet up with you, but every time we were on two different sides of the parking lot. Heh...maybe next year!

Sorry, if you and Jason had some side deal, I wasn't aware of it.

And yes, I'd be proud too! It just seemed to me like your post was more for promoting your product than being proud... and I'll admit, that was a judgement call. It was based primarily on you not posting at all here in at least several months and maybe longer (beyond the date of the last prune).

Like we had talked about before, I didn't mind if you REPLIED to somebody looking for info on the products you offered but you couldn't create topics on your own. Looks like Jason thought the same way because he said...

The other part was me letting it slide for a bit when you post in reply to someone asking where to get the decals.
If you have some deal worked out with the admins, just be sure to let me know via email before you make the post next time. Thanks!
