thinking of doing this...what do u all think?

i was thinking of putting some of my performance mods on hold for awhile and doing some custom appearance stuff to my car....what do u all think of this combination???\

-new paint in 2002 Corvette Electron Blue
-Sebring Silver rally stripes
-18'' chrome Z06 wheels w/ the widest drag radials i could fit in the back...
-2 inch cowl hood
-96-97 style SS spoiler
-bow tie front grille
-69 Z/28 style badges
-flat black (or sebring silver?) rear CAMARO panel with contrasting fill ins...

how does that sound to everyone??

Sounds good, that will be ALOT of $$$$

I think silver Z06's would look alot better than chrome.

That's a pretty expensive list!

A person could put a down payment on a house with that kind of money.......

Go for the Mods!

They're all good!

Those are great mod idea's except for putting 69 Z28 badges on a 94 like yours. Look out, I'm the poser police.

everything but the stripes. Not a fan of stripes on the 98+'s. Anyways electron blue is amazing no need to put anything over it.!

Sounds good except for the stripes and the 69 Z28 style badges. I don't really like cowl hoods either, but that's just me.

dont have a 94 man! (see sig) sold that car awhile ago...

BTW i know its an expensive list....its just the direction that i think i want to go in over time....

some reasoning....

-chrome rather than silver just because its chrome!

-stripes just because my old 94 had them and im kind of partial to them

-i dont really think the badges make me a poser....i've seen them on a couple 4th gens and i think they look good (though i might just take the normal style badges and paint them silver.)

-cowl hood because i dont like the flat one and everyone and their mother has an SS or ultra Z hood....

need opinion on the rear panel....black with silver inlays or silver with blue inlays????

I'd say black with silver inlays if you're going with silver stipes. But that's just because I'm a little partial to black tail panels.

I don't know though, now that I think about it, silver with blue inlays kinda sounds cool too. I'd have to see a compare and contrast first though.

Chrome vs. Silverish finish - I think BOTH look schweet. Either way works.

Silver stripes - I'm kinda partial to stripes too. My old IROC (hence my name) had stripes and I loved them, nothing but compliments. To each his own.

Cowl hood - I'm not a huge fan of them, yet I still like them. It all depends on your setup.

Badges - YES!!! I love the look of those on 4th gens.

LT1 SS wing - I also like the look of those wings better than '98+. I don't know, just being able to see all the way underneath it or something?!?!

Hope I haven't rambled too much, but that's gonna be one helluva looker when you get finished with it.

Good luck,
Kyle
