what do yall do to keep the engine bay looking good?
clean frequently..if so how? ive heard sinple gren while car is running let soak for 30 min then rinse...but i dont have the ***** to do that with all the electrical and opti...
paint white..
paint flat black..

I just hose mine down every time I wash it. I may hit it with some mild soap, but thats about it.

Well, the reason you can hose your's down is because you don't have an optispark...

I just take moist rags and wipe everything down. Then use clean rags and apply tire foaming polish to all of the black plastic. Looks great to me. I'd show a pic, but I just realized I've never taken one after doing all of that.

I used to hose my LT1 down, just dont spray directly on the opti. You wont hurt anything.

I painted mine black before I put my BBC in. I've got to touch up around the sides where my fenders are but it looks pretty good. Theres some pictures in the link. Everything is dirty in the pic because I'd just got done putting the BBC in there. But you can see how much better it looks verses white.
